2007 EDITION OF THE TOYS “R” US TOY GUIDE FOR DIFFERENTLY-ABLED KIDS AVAILABLE NOW
Toys benefit children with muscle diseases
TUCSON, Ariz. — The latest edition of the Toys “R” Us Toy Guide for Differently-Abled Kids, a complimentary toy-selection guide for parents and friends of children with disabilities, is now available in all Toys “R” Us stores nationwide and online at www.toysrus.com/differentlyabled.
The easy-to-use resource features specially selected toys that promote the development of children with physical and cognitive disabilities, including children affected by one of the 40 diseases the Muscular Dystrophy Association covers in its program.
Each year, Toys “R” Us enlists the help of the National Lekotek Center, an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to children with disabilities, to carefully evaluate and select the products featured in the Guide.
Toy “R” Us has also partnered with some of the world’s leading special needs organizations, including MDA, to educate families and communities they serve by providing information about the Guide.
