CITGO PRESIDENT ELECTED
TO MDA NATIONAL LEADERSHIP
TUCSON, Ariz., Dec. 5, 2003 — Luis E. Marin of Tulsa has been
elected to the national leadership of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Marin, president and CEO of CITGO Petroleum Corp., was named to a one-year
term as a national vice president of the voluntary health organization
during MDA’s recent Board of Directors meeting in Houston. MDA
vice presidents provide counsel in their areas of expertise and assist
the Association through advocacy and staunch support of its lifesaving
programs and activities.
Marin was elected president of the Tulsa-based CITGO in August and
has been in the petroleum industry since 1980. CITGO is a leading corporate
sponsor of MDA.
