Innovative St. Joseph's Neurologist Receives $450K MDA Grant

TUCSON, Ariz. — Forty-two medical researchers and their labs have been awarded over $21 million by the Muscular Dystrophy Association to continue critical neuromuscular research.  Many of the grants are multi-year awards to be dispersed over the next three years.
Artworks by Chesterfield Artist Accepted into MDA Art Collection

TUCSON, Ariz. — Two paintings by teenage artist Caroline Pennell of Chesterfield, Va., have been accepted into the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Art Collection. Now in its 18th year, the Collection features artwork by people from across the country with muscular dystrophy and related diseases.
Colorado Springs Airport Will Host MDA Art Exhibit

TUCSON, Ariz. — From January through March, the Colorado Springs Airport will display 15 selected works from the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Art Collection. “Transcending Barriers to Creativity” will be on display in the pre-security Greeters Lounge on level 2, adjacent to the restaurant and lobby fireplace.
