TUCSON, Ariz., Aug. 31, 2012 — There was so much magic on the stage and behind the scenes at the taping of the MDA SHOW of STRENGTH™ at CBS Studios in Los Angeles that it couldn’t all be included in this Sunday night’s three-hour prime-time television special. 

The annual Labor Day weekend broadcast that will air Sunday night, Sept. 2, is packed with today’s top entertainers and touching “stories of strength” about families affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases in an all-new streamlined format.

But there’s more — a lot more. And as a way of saying “thank you” to viewers and the generous public for its ongoing support of MDA, bonus performances featuring Carole King singing “Beautiful” and OneRepublic with their smash hit “Good Life” will be available online at mda.org immediately following the East Coast broadcast Sunday.

Fans of Hot Chelle Rae can see them perform “Whatever”; Alanis Morissette sings “You Learn”; and Gavin DeGraw delivers with his song “Soldier.”

These performers are all generously giving their talent and time to help support MDA’s ongoing mission to fund groundbreaking research that seeks better treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy and the more than 40 muscle diseases covered by the Association.
