COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWAREIf you’re considering updating your computer equipment and software, your used personal computer(s) may be valuable to MDA. If the equipment can be used by the Association, an acknowledgment letter will be provided confirming your gift to MDA. Please call the Association’s IT Department at (800) 572-1717 or write to them at it@mdausa.org. OFFICE EQUIPMENTTelephone systems, cellular telephones, photocopiers, fax machines, Kroy machines and other office equipment that you’re considering replacing may be of value to MDA’s local chapter serving your area. Please contact your local MDA office for more information. OFFICE FURNITUREIs your company considering buying new office furniture? Please consider donating your used office furniture to MDA. Desks, credenzas, tables, chairs, shelves, and office dividers may be needed by the MDA office serving your area. Contact your local MDA office for more information. OFFICE SUPPLIESAn in-kind donation of office supplies would help MDA direct more of its resources to services benefiting children and adults with neuromuscular diseases. An acknowledgment confirming the value of your gift will be provided for tax purposes. Please contact your local MDA office for more information. ACTIVITY & CRAFT SUPPLIESActivity and craft supplies are needed for MDA summer camps that offer a week-long camp experience for youngsters with neuromuscular diseases. If you would like to find out more about how you can support a camp in your area, please contact your local MDA office. MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIESMedical equipment — including gently-used wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers, communication devices, etc. — can be donated to your local MDA loan closet. Donated items are made available at no cost to individuals with neuromuscular disease. Please contact your local MDA office for more information. MDA summer camps need an available supply of first-aid and related medical items to deal with the inevitable bumps and scrapes and other needs that arise with campers.
