Chris, a self-taught artist, received an associate’s degree from Ozarks Technical Community College. His paintings have been exhibited at several local businesses. Chris enjoyed reading science fiction and creating artwork.

Peter created this artwork at age 11 and donated artwork for many years for use on local MDA awards. In 1999, one of his drawings was featured on a card distributed by MDA national sponsor Harley-Davidson. Peter also served as the 1994 Minnesota State Goodwill Ambassador.

Jared created this artwork at age 12 at an MDA-sponsored children’s art workshop held at the Detroit Institute of Art. He received the Presidential Academic Fitness Award signed by President Clinton in June 1994.

Kyle attended Edsel Ford High School. His favorite activities included swimming, learning about computers and drawing sports cars.

Robert has been painting for several years using a mouth brush, his wheelchair wheels and other items to create his works. He is studying art at Massasoit Community College in Canton, as well as working as an assistant teacher of performing arts at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton.

Tod was an avid self-taught artist who won numerous awards at local exhibits. He painted with a stick and specially designed mouthpiece. Family and friends opened and changed paints.

Alex created this mask at age 11 at an MDA-sponsored children’s art workshop held October 30, 1993, at the National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. He served as MDA’s Goodwill Ambassador for the District of Columbia in 1989 and 1990.

Jason created this mask at age 8 at an MDA-sponsored children’s art workshop held October 30, 1993, at the National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. He has been active in Boy Scouts and has had artwork displayed at school art exhibits.

Jeff created this drawing at age 16 for a school project while a student at Shawnee Mission South High School. He collects hats and enjoys working on his computer. Jeff graduated from Johnson Community College with an associate’s degree in graphic design.

Craig designed logos and program covers for his local MDA chapter, high school and other community groups, and his artwork has been displayed in several local venues. He also published a book called Craig’s Travel Adventures.
