Of the many challenging aspects of learning you're diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder, understanding where to begin once the diagnosis is confirmed can be a major obstacle for many. The following resources, listed by state, can provide a valuable link between those newly diagnosed and getting the services and resources they desperately need.

This directory was created to provide those we serve access to state-specific resources such as advocacy, education, disability, development, employment and mental health, just to name a few.

You'll find your state's directory organized by the following three categories:

  • State Agencies and Organizations
    • Which may include state resources such as Rehabilitation Services, Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, Department of Education, Official State Web site and State Senators
  • Organizations Especially for Parents
    • Which may include state resources for Parents Training and Information Center
  • Other Disability Related Resources
    • Which may include state resources such as Easter Seals and Statewide Independent Living Centers
