MDAchat Login

  • Need a nickname/password to login? - If you are unable to login, please register for MDAchat by emailing mdachat@mdausa.org   Let us know what nickname/username you would like. You will be sent a password the next day via email (or on Monday if submitted over the weekend).

  • Having problems with DigiChat? You need Java - Chatters must have the latest version of Java on their computer for DigiChat to work correctly. An older version of Java may cause chatters to get "booted" from MDA chats, or may hinder people from logging in. Before entering MDA chats, you can verify if Java is installed, and what version it is, easily by going to www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp. You can download the newest version of Java if it is not installed, or needs to be updated, at www.java.com/en/index.jsp.

  • Basic computer maintenance is also recommended.

  • Want to slow the chat down? After you’ve entered an individual chat room, click on Settings in the lower right, then click the Options tab. Under Options, choose the Message Scroll Speed from the pull-down menu (very slow, slow, normal or fast) and click on Save.

  • Have some fun with DigiChat emoticons!

  • Please do not post any personally identifying information while you are in the MDA chat groups. For example: your complete address(es), phone number(s), social security number, etc. The chat group transcripts are posted daily on the MDA Web site and are accessible to the public.

  • Once you enter a chat session, do not close this login page or your chat session will end. In addition, if you stay idle in a chat room for long, you will be booted out by the system automatically.
