Theresa began painting in 1995 and has found it to be a great stress-relieving hobby. She has won awards for artwork and photographs displayed in Palm Springs. Along with painting, she enjoys taking photos and spending time with family.

Kyle attended Edsel Ford High School. His favorite activities included swimming, learning about computers and drawing sport cars.

Tommy began creating art in childhood. He has a bachelor’s degree from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore. He is known in the Baltimore and Washington areas for his exceptional work in pencil as well as other mediums. Tommy has the ability to capture his subject’s emotion and character.

Destiny has been drawing since age 3. She has served as a local Goodwill Ambassador for several years. Her hobbies include fishing, reading and swimming.

Aubrey created her artwork at age 11. She attended the University of Minnesota. Aubrey and her brother, Nicholas, served as MDA’s National Goodwill Ambassadors in 1998 and 1999, and traveled around the country speaking on behalf of the Association.

Mike spent 40 years as an advertising copywriter. His hobbies were hiking and distance running. In 2000 Mike began painting and as a watercolorist, he revisits the outdoor landscapes he loves, but with a brush and palette instead of hiking boots and sneakers. Mike’s wife, Elizabeth, also has a painting in the MDA Art Collection and both are members of the San Diego Watercolor Society.
