MDA is pleased to announce its 2013 Scientific Conference called Therapy Development for Neuromuscular Diseases: Translating Hope Into Promise, which will be held April 21-24, 2013, in Washington, D.C. The meeting will focus on therapeutic strategies for neuromuscular diseases and will highlight sessions on different aspects of therapy development, including novel targets, biomarkers, therapeutic modalities and new animal models. Sessions also will include the latest updates on clinical trials for neuromuscular diseases, as welll as a new “late-breaking” session for the most up-to-date research in the field.
The meeting will consist of two-and-a-half days of platform presentations, plus a poster session, along with plenty of time for networking and discussion. The meeting will leverage the expertise of researchers across different neuromuscular disease areas, from the academic, corporate drug development and clinical arenas, to identify barriers to therapeutic development and how to overcome those barriers.
The conference is scheduled for April 21-24, 2013, at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C. This meeting is the second scientific conference of MDA's national conference series, which features biennial scientific meetings (in odd-numbered years) alternating with MDA Clinical Conferences (in even-numbered years).
